"The best thing about Google Meet is its seamless integration with the Google Workspace ecosystem. Scheduling meetings via Google Calendar, joining calls with a single click, and collaborating in real-time on Docs or Sheets during meetings makes it extremely convenient. The interface is clean, the video and audio quality are reliable, and it doesn’t require any software installation, which is great for ease of access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Google Meet is generally very reliable, one limitation is the lack of advanced features compared to some competitors—such as built-in whiteboarding, more dynamic breakout room controls, or detailed meeting analytics. Additionally, background noise suppression and visual backgrounds could be improved for lower bandwidth situations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nowadays not everyone has Microsoft teams or Zoom other payeble official platform account. But almost everyone has a gmail account. It makes me easier to communicate online meeting. Created google meeting schedule added to a calendar of my smart phone, it means never too late or lose. Easy to share meeting link via mail and instant messages, sharing screen and Google docs during the call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Currently I don't see any dislike. It meets all of my requirements. Google meet may needs more AI tools same as Gong. Highlighted meeting and make conclusion. Otherwise It's really fine to using Google meet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Google Meet is incredibly easy to use and integrates perfectly with other Google Workspace tools, especially Gmail and Google Calendar. Scheduling a meeting is seamless – I can create a meeting link directly from my calendar and send invites in seconds. The platform is reliable, with consistently clear video and audio quality, even with weaker internet connections. The user interface is clean, intuitive, and user-friendly, which makes it easy for everyone on the team, including those who are not tech-savvy, to use without needing training. While Google Meet works very well for basic video conferencing, it does lack some advanced features compared to other tools. For example, it would be helpful to have more control over layout customization, such as pinning multiple participants or changing screen views more flexibly. Also, I would appreciate deeper integration with third-party tools like Trello or project management platforms, which would improve productivity in more complex workflows. What I like most about Google Meet is how easy it is to share meeting links and how seamlessly it integrates with the entire Google ecosystem. I also appreciate that participants can join meetings without needing to log in, which makes it super convenient for external collaborators. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I miss is a more complete corporate environment. For example, when I used Microsoft Teams, I liked that every video call created a chat thread that remained available afterward. This made it easy to keep track of shared links, comments, or decisions discussed during the call. In Google Meet, that context is lost once the meeting ends, which can sometimes lead to missing important information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The inclusion of the product in a Google Workspace helps round out the package to support all business needs (i.e. video calling, document collaboration etc). It is also useful with the integration of external tools, such as Confluence/Miro, that enable real-time collaboration with attendees of a Google Meet via Activities. A limitation is not being able to access the Comments section after a meeting has finished (or if you join late, you cannot see earlier messages) which differs from Microsoft Teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the things that I can say.I like about Google meet is how easy makes to understand accents from different regions. Using captions like I can use caption to see what they are saying. Apart from that, there's also a noise reduction feature that I have used .It is very good when the environment is noisy, so yeah, those are the features I think I can say I like the most. Sometimes I think having a record persistent chat history would be good. I send the chat and when the meeting end. I'm not able to see chat but if there was a way I could get those chats over mail or send it to all the participants of the meeting. It would have been great also about video quality when it tries to compensate for low lighting or drop the video quality I hope they fix it . That is everything that I think they can improve about. What I like best about Google Meet is its simplicity and reliability. It launches quickly right from Calendar or Gmail, and the interface is clean and easy to navigate. The video and audio quality are consistently strong, even on weaker connections. I also appreciate features like live captions and screen sharing. It’s great for both quick check-ins and formal meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike about Google Meet is the limited advanced features compared to other platforms. Virtual background options are basic, and breakout rooms can be clunky to manage. There’s also no built-in whiteboard unless you integrate with Jamboard. Sometimes, it lags when many participants join. Integration with external tools could be smoother. It's pretty easy to use. The features are mostly self explanatory. I like the fact that it integrates so well with the Google suite. I use it around 5-10 times a week. If you just start at the top and work your way down, you'll implement it within a few minutes. I also like that it lets me know if the person is out of my network. It can be a little odd trying to share your various links to your calendar. It takes a few times of realizing that you are sharing a link for either that day or future days. There's a few sub menu pieces that you can miss if you aren't paying attention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
-We always use it for meetings, quick chat during shifts. It is pretty easy to use, links are short and meetings are easily integrated into your calendar.
-It is quick to log in and just hop onto a meeting, no registrations needed.
-hand raising, emojis reactions, presentations(share screen) are really convenient for collaboration
-Links are easily accessible through e-mail confirmation too.
-I never encountered needing to contact their customer support team because I never experienced technical issues
-The background filters are pretty handy for business meetings, the other ones are pretty fun to use when you're just goofing around with friends. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
-the option to answer your attendance(whether you'll be attending the meeting or not) via email does not work, or if it does, the e-mail interface does not tell correctly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
