I like that G2 Marketing Solutions gives our company the ability to have unbiased reviews from users. Our company is always looking for social proof when talking to prospects or new users so this really makes an impact. The platform is also pretty easy to use and it's something I'm in daily! Intent data is a huge lever for us to pull on when it comes to understanding who is actively in the market for our solution. The integration into third party tools allows us to deliver ads to those who are of an attractive level of intent, making it easy to use the data in a strategic way. Content is also a big part, where everyday we have new reviews coming in. Not only is our profile a stepping stone for prospects buying journey to learn about who we are and where we stand in the market, but it also opens the door to new prospects who may not have heard of us before - but G2 was the path they took to find us. G2's solutions help capture market interest and contribute towards our brand awareness efforts as we've leveled up in rankings. The platform is dependable but does come with its own set of limitations. While the support and product team have always been helpful, there have been times when some things have felt a bit inflexible on the platform.

While the visitor intent data available on our plan (basic plan) is useful, the quality of these prospects is often questionable. We don't have the buyer intent data on our plan which gives deeper insights. What I am referring to is the "Track your prospects" feature which is a toned down version of the Buyer intent data. Navigating between multiple profiles on G2 often boots me out of the platform, which happens more frequently than I’d like and disrupts my workflow. Additionally, I wish there were more features available under our current subscription. For example, the ability to post URLs instead of just PDF downloads would be extremely helpful for tracking traffic from our profile to our site and better understanding how users engage with our content. I really enjoy being able to see customer feedback come in throughout each quarter. I also appreciate the fact that for G2 Grid reports, drafts come in decently early allowing us to prep our G2 grid releases with plenty of time. The platform itself is also pretty easy to use, and there is A LOT of data available , that I never even realize how much until I talk to our CSMs over at G2. Sometimes I feel like I get lost almost with how much there is to click into, so its helpful to know for sure where things are. I also wish the actual G2 run review generation campaigns were more customizable. What I like most about G2 Marketing Solutions is that it effectively allows teams to leverage their positive customer base reputation. I dislike at times that some reviews get rejected, and there might not be a completely clear reason as to why (although it does provide a bit of context) - so the filtering is good to an extent, but more transparency would be good in that area. Another issue I've had is the automated notifications G2 sets up have been hit or miss. Sometimes, I will receive them, and sometimes, I won't. That includes balance updates to campaigns that send automated invoices and support cases that are being answered, but I am not being notified of it. That is specific to my experience. G2 make it really easy to collect testimonials and customer feedback, and the giftcard incentives are sent very quickly once a review is completed. The badges given are great social proof and helps us stand out against competitors. Everyone I've interacted with at G2 has also been really lovely and super helpful. For an enterprise company like ours, it's really hard to compete with more product-led companies, because they have so many more customers due to the nature of their business model.
