What I like best about Canva is how easy it makes designing almost anything. Whether it's social media posts, presentations, or even full websites, Canva gives you all the tools you need in one simple platform. It’s user-friendly, saves a lot of time, and doesn’t require advanced design skills to create professional-looking results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike about Canva is that when creating websites, you can't add custom code or integrate certain apps or widgets. This really limits the functionality and flexibility compared to other web design platforms. Also, some features feel too basic or not customizable enough, especially for more advanced users who want more control over the design and interactivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a graphic designer working across freelance and organizational projects, Canva has been a reliable and user-friendly tool in my workflow. I really appreciate how intuitive it is, it's easy to jump in and start designing, and share work without a steep learning curve. The ability to collaborate with others is one of my favorite aspects. Being able to send a link and have clients leave feedback directly in the design streamlines communication and speeds up the revision process. Canvas variety of templates and built-in assets also make it quick to mockup ideas or build out simple social media content. For fast-paced work, especially when I need to hand off designs to people without a design background, it's very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Canva does offer a good range of design tools, I sometimes feel limited as a graphic designer when working on more advanced layouts. For example, I wish I could adjust tracking (the space between letters) line-by-line within a single text box. I have to break it up into multiple boxes right now if I want to do that which slows things down. The drop shadow feature also feels a bit clunky compared to tradition design software. More precise controls would makes it more usable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really appreciate the wide variety of templates available in Canva, which make it easy to create visually engaging presentations that capture the audience’s attention—whether I'm presenting during professional development sessions, to faculty and staff, or directly to students in the classroom. I've also used Canva to design creative and eye-catching title pages for resources like our student and faculty handbooks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Canva is an excellent design tool, I have experienced some challenges when trying to integrate it with other programs. Improving compatibility and streamlining those integrations would make it even more effective and user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Canva saves me so much time when I have to create graphics and reports. Especially presentations for work. I love the integration of AI and all the other tools that will allow me to have som freedom in the work I do and give me the time I need to do other work that would get pushed off to the side longer if I had to start from scratch on a project in boh thought and design. I have been a Photoshop user for a long time but as Photoshop became more complicated I loved the simplicity of Canva to not only give me already pre-made templates but also all the graphics I could ever need including stock photography. As Canva grows, more and more of the extra apps seem to crowd the system and offer a trial of some sort instead of an added dimension of the paid service I already have. I'm still learning tools that were added months ago. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing about Canva is its ease of use! I've worked with numerous other design programs extensively - including Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator, as well as Quark - and with Canva, I'm able to do everything and more - with such ease! I literally use it every week as a primary part of my job, and I love using it for personal projects as well. It integrates easily with the programs we use to manage our marketing and content distribution, so that really helps to streamline our weekly workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've found that some more experienced design professionals don't accept Canva as a true design program. They view it as a sort of "cheat code" and would prefer to build things from scratch time and time again in more industry-recognized programs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I get to explore. I can also create images to give life to the idea in my head, then create from it. Canva is alo easy to use and the tools make work implementation easy, but better in pro. Normal use features are limited, so pro is always better. I use Canva for all my designs, multiple times a week, since it's easier to use and understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Most of the good features are now Pro, so if a new user comes to try, they don't get to experience the app on free mode and they don't want to move on using it. I don’t know how to reach customer support sometimes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As someone with zero graphic design training, Canva has been a total game-changer for me. I use it for creating makeup client flyers, Instagram posts, and YouTube thumbnails. The templates are modern and customizable, and the drag-and-drop system makes editing feel like playing a game. I also love that it autosaves everything, so I never lose my work. The mobile app is just as smooth — I often edit designs between appointments! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The free version is powerful, but some really helpful features (like background remover and resizing designs) are locked in the Pro version. It would be great if at least one or two of these were available for free users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is extremely easy to use, has many resources in the free version, compatible with almost all image and video formats so you will not have limitations in implementing or integrating your files with the templates that Canva provides. I only used the support once and it was quite fast, they responded to me by email in less than a day. It is software for everyday use, easy to edit and quick to export. It has many addons that you can use to further expand its functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While you can use the resources of an almost unlimited library, you cannot design, so when you require something more professional or specific, it becomes limited and you must turn to other specific tools for that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Canva is like a creative buddy who’s always got my back! I got in with less design skills, and within few minutes, I was making stuff that looked decent, talk about a confidence boost. Signing up was easy as there was no complicated setup, just create an account and start designing. I’m on it almost every day, whether I’m designing a quick Instagram post or putting the finishing touches on a presentation. The tools are so versatile: brand kits, video editing, and even team collaboration features make everything flow. I love how Canva keeps adding new stuff, so it’s like getting creative and advanced all the time and the integrations. Total game-changer I can pull files from Google Drive or Dropbox and share my designs without a hassle. Customer support’s been awesome too. I had a billing question once, and they got back to me fast with real help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It’s one of the best tools for most projects, but if you’re aiming for something really advanced especially if you’re used to more advanced and powerful design software it can feel a bit like you’re working with a simpler set of tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Canva is perfect for quick design tasks, social content, client mockups, and collaborative visuals. Its intuitive interface lets me create polished graphics fast—without opening heavier tools like Photoshop or Illustrator. I especially appreciate the brand kits, templates, and team features that help maintain visual consistency across multiple projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Canva is excellent for speed and convenience, it has limitations when it comes to complex, layered designs or advanced animation—things I normally turn to Adobe Creative Cloud for. Sometimes file export settings also lack the fine-tuning I’d expect as a creative professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
