116 DualEntry Reviews

DualEntry has completely transformed how our finance team handles accounting. If you're using tools like Zelt, Oracle HCM, Payfit, IntelliHR, or Salesforce, DualEntry ties it all together beautifully. It’s allowed our finance and HR teams to collaborate more strategically and focus on what matters.. My collague who recommended me DualEntry told me they also use Gusto, Hubspot, Brex, Salesforce, Vertex, Team Pay, Square Payments and DualEntry can integrate with all of them which is amazing!!
Highly recommended for scale-ups and mid-market companies serious about operational efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI, though clean, could benefit from a few more customization options to suit different team workflows. That said, the support team has been very responsive, and once everything is set up, the system runs smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Dual entry is the best software that I have used in terms of its functionality such as automated journal entries which has features in automating Journal Entries to reduce manual work, real-time financial reporting which instantly generates accurate balance sheet, income statements and cash flow reports, can easily identify discrepancies and imbalances immediately, maintain records of changes for auditing and compliance purposes, and syncs with bank accounts, payroll, invoicing, and tax tools for smooth workflows. Which this will be the future accounting software for transparency, accurate financial accounting system methods for its user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
None, but for other users specially users that have less knowledge in accounting will find it difficult in assessing the feature of Dual Entry accounting software and might be too complex for small business and freelancers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I appreciate most about DualEntry is how user-friendly it is. While it's normal to feel a bit overwhelmed
at first, I quickly became familiar with the system during testing. The overall design and feature set are truly
impressive—especially the intelligent email functionality. It effectively flags unbalanced entries, duplicate
invoices, and missing fields, while automating entries and generating accounting reports that save hours of
manual work. Unlike many platforms, DualEntry also includes built-in Inventory and Fixed Asset modules,
making it a true all-in-one solution. And thanks to its well-designed dashboard, monitoring the company's
cash flow and overall financial status is simple and intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Throughout my testing, I didnʼt encounter any issues and was genuinely impressed with the systemʼs overall
functionality. Every feature worked smoothly, and the platform consistently delivered a seamless user
experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
DualEntry strikes the perfect balance between depth and usability. As a mid-sized business with an in-house finance team, we needed an accounting platform that could handle increasing complexity — multiple cost centers, departmental budgets, accruals, and audit trails without becoming a full-blown ERP. Dualentry fits that need beautifully. The UI is clean, the reporting is powerful, and features like auto-reconciliation, recurring entries, and bulk transaction imports have saved our team so much time!! Dualentry’s open API has allowed us to build what we needed. Support has also been very responsive when we’ve had questions..so there’s nothing to dislike. Waiting for mobile app to be available too! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about DualEntry is its intuitive interface and how it automates repetitive accounting tasks like journal entries and reconciliations. It significantly reduced the time I spend on manual data entry, and the real-time syncing with our existing financial tools helped avoid errors and speed up the closing process. The built-in audit trails and smart tagging features also made our reports more transparent and easier to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Overall, DualEntry is well-designed, but one area for improvement would be the reporting customization options. While the default reports are helpful, having more flexibility to tailor dashboards or export formats would make analysis easier for different stakeholders. Also, a bit more guidance or tooltips for first-time users during setup would help reduce the initial learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As an engineering-focused company, we’re always looking to streamline operations without spending weeks configuring tools. DualEntry felt like plug-and-play compared to everything else we’ve tried. Its AI accurately captures and categorizes our vendor invoices (including very technical ones so we’re very happy!) and syncs cleanly with our ERP. The audit trail is super transparent, which our compliance team loves, and our accountants save hours each week on manual reconciliations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We’d love to see deeper integrations with industry-specific platforms (like project management tools used in construction/engineering).
But that’s a wishlist item since everything core already runs smoothly so it’s hard to dislike something.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like the most about DualEntry is that it has everything that you will need especially in the accounting side. It has voucher processing up to financial reports, even budgeting is made easier with this ERP. AR and AP Aging is pretty much fun, as the details included are linked to their source and can be analyzed automatically. I mean, with just a click, you can already see the flow of the transactions. If you wanna see the inflows and outflows of cash for a certain period, with just a click and you can have it. It makes financial decisions easier and faster with how it caters to the needs of the users. And not just that, it also supports integration like hubspot for a real-time view of marketing-related finances. It also supports bill.com for streamlining of payments. I don't have much to dislike about this ERP as it contains everything you will ever need for easier and faster processing of transactions and reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What impressed me most about DualEntry was easy to understand and use for the beginners. I like how simplistic it looks yet very easy to understand. The automated application in every report is very important because it will lessen the hours to prepare and also could be less in error. If this is the application to be used by the company especially the big companies, this would be great help because it provides detailed financial reports, making it easier for businesses to analyze profitability and great help in making decisions. There wasn't much I truly disliked, I love all of its application. I'd suggest adding journal entry line in creating new transaction. This will be use on encoding the journal entry # that book on previous transaction when it is receivable or payable. Then It's Journal entry will be encoded on that line to match the transaction and easy to identify if it is that's payable or receivable was received and paid. Honestly I'm quite impressed by its features by how the dynamic and easy it is to navigate. It's my first time
using such tool but somehow it felt that I've been so familiar with it. I like how simplistic it looks yet very
easy to understand. Cool dashboard by the way especially the subsidiary navigator its like a shortcut
summary of everything's going on. I also really like how the reporting gives you so many options that provide
accurate data which is very important. The filtering in this tool is also great, it allows the user to simplify
data as easy as possible providing on point accurate results. One of the best feature of DualEntry is its integration support which supports a lot like thousands and one of them is Google SSO which is a great tool since we all know Google is frequently used by most people. The part where you can specify the user roles
access its a great way for safeguarding data, I like how its categorized and easy to understand. The way you
create transactions, assets, sales, invoices, purchases, records, is fast and very easy. The AI still needs
more work though but its understandable given it is still in development but I noticed how fast it responds.
Overall I can honestly say that its a great accounting tool that is so reliable and provides accurate data and
perform its function and not just that is so easy to use and understand coming from a first time user with no experience in any accounting software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I didn't find any that I can say I "dislike", but I do find its AI feature needs more improvement when querying
for some data such as reporting and transactions but its understandable due to the tool is still in
development, though I'm impressed by how fast it responds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like about DualEntry is that you can easily navigate the platform, it's very simple and straightforward. It's not overloaded with features that might overwhelm users, I actually even expected a learning curve. The dashboard already shows everything including the ratios and the summary reports of the company for easier decision-making too, plus it's totally customizable. The set up of my account was surprisingly quick and painless, it was up and running in no time, none of those multiple attempts or numerous emails to setting up.
During testing, I liked the Balance Sheet "Account Type" filter then save it as a report, moving forward you'd be utilizing this saved report instead of filtering every time. Also, I personally like the schedule report feature as this would save time for users instead of going to the platform, search the report, then download data.
The AI or Accounting Copilot is definitely a game changer, from pointing out gaps to helping out with jargons, to flagging errors, and to predicting budgets even, I just think the introduction of AI would make its users spend more time focusing on the bigger picture. The limits to your questions in AI is endless in my opinion.
One more thing I appreciated is that you'd be able to link your banks and other apps with DualEntry, like Stripe, Workday, Coupa, Okta, Paypal, Zuora, Expensify, which I believe are all essentials in accounting, and coming soon is Slack. I honestly can't imagine at the moment what I'd be expecting, would our comms be showing in the tool?
After sales service is just as important and having Support available 24/7, is honestly a big help considering I'm working on a different timezone.
Overall, it's smarter, faster, and makes accounting way less stressful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While I did like the platform being simple and straightforward (+ the colors too), I do feel like it's lacking in some functions. I personally focused on Fixed Assets and I'd suggest adding more details in the Fixed Assets Register. The Register should show more of the transaction details, rather than the Asset Overview, I think their data should be switched since an overview should show like a summary. If we can add asset status and parent transaction that would be helpful too. For the capitalization, Id suggest capitalizing based on an invoice/JE feature would be better instead of adding manually, and utilize the details on the invoice/JE like auto integration.
