Its retention period in some modules goes as low as 1 month in free tier and 3 months in paid. I think that can catered for in the self hosting (which I havent tried up until now), but Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Honestly, very little to complain about, maybe some of the stuff to do with experiments is a bit complex to understand when using it for the first time - stuff to do with statistics etc, but I guess that isn't really a limitation of posthog, more of just an education. the simple integration with multiple frameworks , i mostly use nextjs and its so simple to use posthog with it just 4-5 lines of code and boom you have analytics in your app. And the freee plan is so considerate gives alot of analytics so i love it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
