As a QA professional, I've found Mixpanel to be a robust analytics platform that significantly streamlines user behavior tracking and data analysis. The implementation process is straightforward, with comprehensive SDKs and clear documentation that made integration smooth across our web and mobile applications. The learning curve can be steep for non-technical team members, and some advanced features require significant setup time. Pricing can become expensive as data volume scales, which may be prohibitive for smaller teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Mixpanel is a solid alternative to Amplitude, offering a simpler, more user-friendly interface. It provides an excellent experience for event tracking and analytics—without the steep learning curve common to other platforms. It has all the features you need, yet remains easy to use. Lately, they changed their free plan, making Mixpanel very difficult for many growing businesses, including ours. That said, the Mixpanel team did step in to help us enroll in their Startup Program, which grants us a free year with additional feautures. While this eases the burden in the short term, the underlying pricing challenge remains for long-term users once the Startup Program ends. The core issue for us is that push notifications (which we use heavily) generate a high volume of events, causing us to quickly exceed our limit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform is very flexible when it comes to analyzing data from different angles, whether it's churn, conversion rate, or user paths. It also keeps coming up with new relevant features, I was feeling the need to have custom calculations, and around 2 months later they already had it launched.
Another thing that I really enjoy is how fast and thorough their support team is. We had several doubts regarding an update done to UTM tags and they replied on the same day with answers and solutions adapted to our case.
The interface is very intuitive, I use it every day to create dashboards and my colleagues, which only go there occasionally easily interact with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it's hard to be aware of the new features launched. Some of them I only get to know by accident while doing new reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

MixPanel is super simple, flexible and robust. We presviously used a very centrailsed approach with Tablaue, where only the data team were able to produce complex reports. The shift to mixpanel proved to be a huge game chnager that helped ys x2.5 on Black Friday. The real time, the decentralised approach so everyone have the abuility tpo create reports, the ease of use - all made our team much more data savvy than before. After 1 year or so of packing it with our data, we feel some clutter and slowness - but I assume this is part of us needing to become more efficient with our use of data and events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Mixpanel stands out for its real-time tracking. The UI is clean, fast, and easy to use. It supports both server-side and client-side event tracking, making it flexible. Data can be exported in multiple formats, and the API makes extraction seamless. Great for deep user behavior analysis. Customer support is very resposive and capable. Reports are very user friednly. The data export API can be improved by making it customizable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really appreciate Mixpanel's focus on providing deep insights into user behavior and engagement. The platform’s analytics are very intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy to track key metrics, visualize trends, and understand user flows without extensive technical knowledge. Its event-based tracking system is particularly helpful in pinpointing where users might be dropping off or where they’re most engaged. The ability to create custom funnels and cohort analyses allows us to dig into specific user segments and make data-driven decisions with ease. Overall, Mixpanel is a powerful tool for anyone looking to improve product performance through actionable insights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the downsides of Mixpanel is that it can be challenging to integrate with other platforms in our tech stack. While Mixpanel’s analytics capabilities are strong, creating a seamless data flow between Mixpanel and other tools often requires technical expertise and can be a bit cumbersome. I use it on a daily basis as my job is to present customer insights, and I think it provides clean data, nice and structured visualisation, and is generally a very intuitive tool! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The downside of MixPanel revolves unfortunately around the lack of effective integration with some other tools we used, therefore the data is sometimes not complete compared to what we can see on the other tools, however, as mentioned, it is overall great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find mixpanel a very intuitive and scaleable product experience. It can used as simply or as complex as the use case sees fit.
This makes it a relatively low barrier for usage.
Mixpanel is critical for measuring the impact of our experimentation framework and provides a lot of great insights into our work and where to go next Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find a few of the report types a little confusing and unituitive. For example, the funnel report can give different starting values to the same event in a metric report. I've discussed with Mixpanel support and they were able to help me but it would be good if product helped with this a bit better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Intuitive, easy to use and powerful features. In my role I use mixpanel very frequently. I have also reached out to the customer support and have had very meaningful exchanges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the mixpanel documentation can be a bit lacking. Further, I would love some more statistical models implemented directly in mixpanel when analyzing A/B test for example.
Moreover, the group analytics -- whilst being really good overall -- is lacking some features (experiment application, lookup tables, etc.) which hinder my workflow somewhat.
I'd also like the ability to multi-select boards for deletion in the sidenav on the left. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
UI/UX is very easy to use. Comes with a lot of customizations like lexicon setup and events can be set up too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Bit expensive. Limitations on data loading while using a lot of filter values. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
