Planable has been the most reliable of all the social media scheduling software we've tested and we've now been using it for a few years. It always felt like other platforms were missing at least 1 core feature we needed and finally we haven't had that issue with Planable. Support is prompt and reliable. I wish some of the new features that get rolled out were included in our plan. Things like analytics and conversations are great additions and felt like were the only missing pieces but the nickle & diming has prevented us from adding them to an already somewhat high-cost software. Social media software pricing ranges dramatically from very cheap to very expensive and while Planable is somewhere in the middle, at least one of these new feautres would be nice to just have included without extra fees. I like the labels, being able to label each piece of content based on my pillars. I enjoy being able to start the post as a group than separate and tweak it separately for each platform. I like the previews, the quick edit features. Being able to leave comments, and Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find it odd that stories can only be added through the compose button rather than a new post in the calendar view. I find it weird you can't move accounts through workspaces, you have to copy each post over which is alot of work. I also think it is not the most user friendly when it comes to the plans - having to contact someone for a custom plan seems a bit of a pain. It would be nicer if it was all tiered out. I like the way the page is laid out, unlike other BIG scheduling companies which are really ugly. We can see the posts as they will actually look on the platforms. Also with the different layouts we can see how the flow of posts works.
We find the ability to collaborate and to get client approval is vital for our business, and planable is really the only solution out there to do that.
We can handle multiple clients through one platform.
Being able to set up schedules and to push to multiple channels, it really saves time.
My clients like the app for approval.
My Social Media Manager LOVES planable for its easy of use, viewing and managing posts.
It's a very stable platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's difficult to link two instagram accounts to one workspace and publish from the app.
5 people on an account (but we could pay to have more) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the easiness of collaboration, client approval, the app, keeping comments organized under each post, and much more! I like how affordable it is and how clear they are with their billing structures. The customer support is a 10/1 0 and is such a personable experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the downsides is that reels are not recognized accross all platforms (especially between instagram and tik tok) so you need to manually upload posts to both pages instead of copying the reel + caption from one to the other.
Another thing I disliked about planable is that changes on one post does not speak to the same post on another platform. So if I am cross posting to facebook and isntagram, but get a client review on one then I have manually go find the post in another page to edit it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Planable is an excellent tool for freelancers or agencies who want to keep everything in one place. No lost emails with feedback and comments, no spreadsheets with performance data etc.
I personally love the fact that I can draft up some content and once my clients have signed it off, it will automatically schedule the content on my behalf. It saves so much time in admin and gives equal responsibility to me and my clients. I use this app virtually every day so having little features like this goes a long way.
Implementation of Planable within my clients organisations has not gone amiss. My clients have expressed how easy it is to use, as they can approve, amend and leave comments on content on the go.
I also love some of the newer features on Planable including the campaign creator, it makes it much easier for me to monitor what content did well during certain campaigns.
When I originally set up Planable, the customer support was excellent, they helped explain the features and how I could best use them in my situation. This made integration into my day to day operations so much easier. Overall, I would recommend this to agencies and freelancers, regardless of size! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Would be great if there was more insights included in the analytics area. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Planable excels at making social media collaboration and content planning seamless and intuitive. The platform’s clean, user-friendly interface allows for easy scheduling, drag-and-drop rescheduling, and real-time previews of posts as they’ll appear on each platform. The multi-view options, including calendar and feed views, make it simple to visualize campaigns and keep content organized. Its standout feature is the streamlined approval workflow, which enables teams and clients to review, comment, and approve posts in one place-eliminating endless email threads and confusion. While Planable is strong in collaboration and planning, it falls short in several areas. The lack of advanced analytics or reporting features is a major drawback for users who need to track performance or generate client reports-currently, you have to rely on external tools for insights. The platform also does not support direct publishing to Instagram Stories or Pinterest, and there are limitations around bulk importing content, evergreen post recycling, and content libraries for reusing posts Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Most of my clients would request me to post on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and even Google my business at specific hours. I reached a point when I would dedicate most of my time posting rather than being creative and producing more. I am happy to use Planable since I live in Mexico and I have clients in Europe, meanwhile I am sleeping my posts and stories get scheduled exactly when I need them and I never miss it again! Currently, I manage 4 brands and each at least 4-5 social media platforms. As well, when I schedule all posts I see how all posts look like visually, which is easy to make a change if there is a need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have tried to use Universal content section for blog posts as I do copywriting as well, but didn't really stick to it since I felt like I would do it as an extra task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a freelance graphic designer, the user interface of any software I need to use is incredibly important to me. Planable's clean dashboard design with calendar view makes it a breeze for me to see my scheduled posts week by week, schedule new ones every five days, and easily drop in my content (reels, posts and stories) all in one go.
After trying several competitor platforms I can say without hesitation that Planable is superior because it WORKS. Every other platform I tried gave me frequent, generic error messages when trying to use its most basic functions, never the case with Planable.
The customer support team have been fast and helpful in the few instances where I have contacted them, and quickly understood my problem. They also don't waste unnecessary time verifying your identity like you might expect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The inflexible pricing plans. As a freelancer I do not need the features which allow me to share scheduled posts with a team or client for feedback, or the ability to manage multiple channels/pages. I would happily forfeit those features if it meant a reduction in my monthly costs, which are quite substantial. Ideally I would only pay $10-15/month for the platform, (currently upwards of $30). I love its clean, intuitive layout—it’s simple to use and easy to navigate. Creating and scheduling posts feels seamless, even if you're not super tech-savvy. With everything in one place, I spend less time organising and more time engaging meaningfully on each platform.
It’s a powerful tool for staying consistent, collaborating smoothly, and keeping your content strategy on track—without the chaos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't found anything yet that I dislike that is not included in my plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
