There are two elements of Mailchimp that I love. Firstly the templates and automation make creating new emails, and user journey automation quick and easy! Leaving you with much more time to consider your content. Then the feedback you receive after sending your comms out, is phenomenal, Mailchimp gives you pointers on what to improve on for your next comms. It encourages a user to keep to the correct frequency of comms and sends reminders on when best to send your next comms. It integrates into most open source and paid for platforms, I have used it for three platforms already. The support function is easy to use, and I have never had to reach out to an actual person, the FAQ's have answered all of my questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes, formatting within templates can be a little challenging. Implementation can be a little bit challenging but when it is implemented, anyone should be able to figure it out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This email marketing platform offers seamless integration with existing systems, simplifying campaign management. The intuitive interface allows for effortless creation of visually appealing emails. Robust analytics provide valuable insights into campaign performance, enabling data-driven optimization. Flexible automation features streamline workflows and personalize the customer journey. Dedicated support ensures prompt assistance and resolves any technical challenges effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Navigating the template editor can sometimes feel clunky. The constant upselling of premium features gets a little old. I wish their analytics dashboard was a bit more intuitive. Also, the pricing tiers jump up pretty drastically after a certain point. Overall though, it's still a pretty solid email platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Mailchimp has allowed me to send out newsletters for the last couple of years, which has brought attention to a project as well as some funding. What I like best is being able to see who has opened the newsletter and who has clicked on links. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The one thing I really don’t like is that creating our newsletters can be frustrating. There are built-in pads that are hard to reduce in size, and it is difficult to put images in various arrays that we might want. We have been able to work around it so I don’t wanna complain too much, but when we want something specific and can’t get it to look the way we want due to the interface. It is very frustrating. It's very easy and intuitive even for a new user to figure out how to build an email campaign. The preset templates are great but you can also very easily built your own template very easily if you have an eye for design and balance of typography. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unfortunately there's no way to find out if the email ended up in a spam folder. I'm surprised that you get a e.g. 30% open rate, because even when you click on the email to delete without reading, it would be marked as read.
I believe the trigger for an email to count and "open" is to allow the images to download and most email clients have that disabled by default. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about Intuit Mailchimp Email Marketing are customer journeys and audience segmentations. With its powerful landing pages, customers are guided along the path to finding the products they like. Importantly, audience segmentation is a powerful tool to increase customer retention. For Database Comics, with audience segmentations and email marketing, it has been possible to improve customer engagement by 20% in three months, generate leads and increase revenue. Importantly, newsletter growth and contact acquisition is simple with options for importing, copy/pasting or adding a document. Intuit Mailchimp Email Marketing is a great software for marketing a product or selling from e-commerce on a special occasion. Professionally, I use the software weekly to grow my newsletter and schedule the RSS feed. Mailchimp is simple to implement with the shortlinks for the e-mail campaigns which are copy/pasted into widgets on websites though forms require an entry-level coding ability to implement segments via field tags on the form builder. Incredibly, Mailchimp is simple to integrate into the Wordpress newsletter and widget as well as social media. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Though email marketing drives product marketing, direct-to-email functionality to drive sales needs improvements. With better email templates aimed at generating more clicks on outbound links, progress can be made. In addition, customer support is limited for users without a subscription. With an Essentials plan, businesses can have access to 24/7 email, chat support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Mailchimp makes it simple to create and manage great email marketing pieces for non-tech users. There are lots of features, the emails are mobile friendly, it's relatively easy to setup and embed into your site. It's simple to set up multiple emails that are recurring or just one off making it something you can be using every day to get closer to your marketing goals. It integrates well into almost every website and their support isn't half bad when things go wrong. All in all, they're the industry standard for a reason. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The cost is absurd. Small business is penalized for having a larger email list by way of HUGE cost. The software is good, but not good enough to justify the price they charge. There needs to be a package that is less overwhelming for small business who need less features and have smaller budgets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think the best thing about the product is how easy it is to use. It's simple to navigate, with less clutter, a great collection of pre-built templates, and smooth integration. The ability to schedule newsletters is a huge plus, and the support team is really helpful too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike the limitation, if you don't have the paid version of the platform, the limitation on the subscriber numbers are specifically a bit annoying, and unfortunate when you are working on a limited budget. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One thing that I like about Intuit Mailchimp Email Marketing is the clean design and how easy it is to navigate, ease of implementation, and easy integration especially when you are new to using email marketing software. The pricing is straightforward, and the customer service has been great. It’s a great tool with useful features that make email marketing easier and frequency of use overtime. What I dislike about Intuit Mailchimp Email Marketing is the fact that it become expensive when your subscriber databse is increasing, making you end up paying more than expected. And another issue is the design options are quite limited, which can be very frustrating if your small business doesn’t fit their templates available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Being able to build a series of templates for many scenarios is very helpful but my favourite thing about Mailchimp is the ability to generate automated user journeys which can literally pay for itself - and then some - without any further input from the administrator. I find the advice Mailchimp offers regarding optimum time/day to send campaigns quite frustrating as it seems prone to change quite regular. The advice I received at the start of the week about sending a message at 2pm on Tues-Thurs may have changed by Thursday morning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have used Mailchimp for many years now, and I send email campaigns every month or two. It is easy to use, and Intuitive to create great-looking email campaigns. I've been able to do the integration and implementation on my own. They provide excellent "live" customer service, even late at night. I highly recommend Mailchimp Email Marketing!
