What do you like best about Yext?

Yext gives me analytics that allow me to make better decisions about my business. Anything from knowing where I need to invest in my marketing and managing my current database of customers. My company made to switch to it and honestly it was easier to use than the old platform. Now my review answers are on autopilot. What do you dislike about Yext?

My somewhat issue with Yext is not even a Yext problem but I do have some limited visibility into the back end of my website. This is Allstate controlled and not their fault but I wish even on the Yext platform I could have some other options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Yext solving and how is that benefiting you?

With a large book of customers, it has been difficult keeping up with the numbers that drive the business. either on the service or the sales side. I am happy to see the important tools we need came included. Most importantly, having one place to manage all my social media and site reviews are definitely a blessing. I love the fact that AI is at the forefront of their focus to help me customize my approach to reach out to customers in the future. However, so far, I have seen an increase in customers contacting my office due to the positive reviews. Year over year, I have seen a 15% increase in new business because of this platform. What do you like best about Yext?

What I like about Yext is the simplicity. The ability to have all mediums in one setting, from Google, Apple, Yelp, Facebook, all in one setting to adjust hours and have them flow into the correct systems. It makes things a lot easier when it comes to ensuring that these mediums are syncing correctly.The implementation of the system is amazing to view all these items in one spot. Customer support is very responsive and mindful in making sure that these items are addressed. What do you dislike about Yext?

What do you like best about Yext?

Yext offers lots of capabilities within itself. It allows me to track how well our web pages are performing. I'm able to get insights and monitor responses to our content. Additional capabilities like Sentiment Analysis are useful in categorizing the feedback in a fast and efficient manner. Analytics capability is also very useful. You can obtain essential information regarding your webpages through the dashboard. Report building capability allows you to dissect and analyze the data in ways that are useful for you. I use Yext a couple of times a month. It's easy to use and the implementation and integration doesn't take much time. The filters and criteria used in reports can get overwhelming and a bit complicated. There are many perimeters that can confuse first time starters and users. It's always a good idea to get help and some training from Yext employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Yext?

What do you dislike about Yext?

Customer support, customer support, customer support — or in Yext’s case, the total lack of it. I’ve worked in marketing for over a decade, and I have never encountered customer service this bad — not even close.

It’s not just slow… it’s nonexistent. Account managers? Ghosts. Support tickets? Black hole. Follow-up? Forget about it. Emails are ignored, escalations go nowhere, and you’re left completely in the dark when you need help the most.

We’ve been a Yext customer for 3 years — far too long. This is absolutely our final year, and I would strongly caution anyone considering them: Don’t make the same mistake we did. When something goes wrong (and it will), you’ll be completely on your own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Yext?

I like the simplicity about Yext and the fact that it is very easy to use. Anyone can navigate through the tool without prior training - it is very intuitive. This makes it easy to train others how to use the tool and accomplish tasks quickly. I also really like their Yext White Glove Service. The reps are super knowledgeable and helpful with questions and problems, and they are always quick to answer the phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Yext?

The least helpful things are the limitations in flexibility and customization. There are only 3 templates for tabs, and only one general website layout. This limits the ability to have a unique website, something that Financial Advisors value greatly. Even if there was the ability to rearrange the sections on the website, that would at least allow for some sort of individuality between the sites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Yext solving and how is that benefiting you?

Yext solves the problems of thinking about how the website layout will look, because it's all formatted for you. The only thing the user needs to do is input the actual content. They are also helping with website analytics. The Yext Analytics dashboard is extremely robust and helps solve the problem of wondering what content is working, what is not, and when.
