What do you like best about UptimeRobot?

The ease of setup and the speed with which alerts are received in case of outages or interruptions. Its dashboard is intuitive, allowing the monitoring of multiple services from a single place, and its integration with channels like email or Microsoft Teams enhances the technical team's response capability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UptimeRobot?

In its free version, the options for alert customization and monitoring frequency are limited. It would also be useful to have more detailed real-time reports without needing to upgrade to the premium plan. Even so, its basic functionality adequately covers many operational needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is UptimeRobot solving and how is that benefiting you?

UptimeRobot solves the problem of lack of visibility over the availability of critical services, allowing the detection of outages or interruptions before they impact end users. Thanks to its real-time alerts and constant monitoring, we can act proactively, reduce response time to incidents, and ensure greater operational continuity. This translates into fewer interruptions, greater user confidence, and better performance of the IT team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about UptimeRobot?

We use UptimeRobot to monitor the key websites for our visitors, customers, and donors. Setting up monitors has been quick and easy. The frequent pings and notification features have been particularly helpful for tracking down outage ranges that happen outside normal operating hours. The interface is intuitive and alerts are easy to set up and modify. The uptime statistics and incident details have been a great addition to our internal IT reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UptimeRobot?

Understand what features are available and not available for the tier you're getting. The tier we have works well for us, but just be sure you understand the scope of service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is UptimeRobot solving and how is that benefiting you?

Monitoring the status of our many web-facing sites and applications, particularly off-hours. This has been very helpful to getting us an early warning of problems or providing outage details if the problem self-heals before we can fix it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about UptimeRobot?

Uptime Robot has been solid for us, and quite easy to set up, reliable for tracking uptime, and the free plan covers all the basics you need , since they give you the option to add up to 50 websites to monitor, we mainly use it to monitor sites, get instant alerts every 5 minutes when something’s down.

Email notifications work well, and while the free plan has its limits, it’s still flexible enough to keep us in the loop. Plus, the logs help track recurring issues (though you need to upgrade your plan to get detailed logs). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UptimeRobot?

the free plan logs , they offer little to no info beside that the website is down ,without any reasoning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is UptimeRobot solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Uptime Robot, we used a custom cron job to monitor each client websites, but it had some issues, no instant alerts, and managing multiple sites was a hassle.

Switching to Uptime Robot made everything easier, a single dashboard for all sites, instant downtime alerts, uptime logs for tracking trends, simple site management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about UptimeRobot?

UptimeRobot is an excellent and reliable monitoring tool, especially for those who need to keep track of personal websites and smart home services. The free version offers a solid set of features, including 5-minute interval checks, notifications via email, and a simple yet effective dashboard. The setup process is straightforward, and the platform provides clear insights into uptime and downtime events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UptimeRobot?

While the free version is great, I wish it allowed for more frequent monitoring on at least one or two selected sites. A 1-minute check option for critical services, even in the free tier, would make it even more useful. Additionally, some advanced notification options and integrations are locked behind the paid plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is UptimeRobot solving and how is that benefiting you?

UptimeRobot helps ensure that my personal websites and smart home services remain online and accessible. By providing automated uptime monitoring, it alerts me immediately when a site goes down, allowing for quick troubleshooting. This is especially useful for self-hosted services, where downtime can impact automation or remote access. Thanks to UptimeRobot, I can stay informed without constantly checking manually, saving time and ensuring reliability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about UptimeRobot?

After trying out several other uptime monitoring services, I've been quite pleased with UptimeRobot. I've been using it for a couple months now and have been impressed with its ease of use and robustness.

The interface is very straightforward, allowing you to add new websites, specify monitoring intervals, and configure alert methods in just a few clicks. Non-technical people will be able to navigate and manage uptime monitors without issue.

Unlike some other monitoring services I tried, UptimeRobot has been very reliable. - I've rarely, if ever, experienced false positives, which is crucial to preserve our staff's time (and faith in the service)! I also appreciate UptimeRobot's flexible and customizable status page - very handy both for people within our org and our website users.

Even the free plan is quite useful - offering string matching on pages, which I found was only available for paid plans from other services. Overall, I definitely recommend UptimeRobot for website monitoring! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UptimeRobot?

The only downsides I can think of are limited options on the free plan (such as limiting checks to 5 min intervals), but you won't find another uptime monitoring service with the depth of features and ease of use as UptimeRobot's. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is UptimeRobot solving and how is that benefiting you?

UptimeRobot provides us with immediate alerts whenever one our web services or sites is inaccessible. Having a reliable and independent uptime monitoring service is crucial to our organization to ensure any outages are addressed immediately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about UptimeRobot?

I use UptimeRobot to monitor websites for downtime. Over the years I've used a few others, some paid, some not and Uptime is the best, even the free version is able to accomplish what I need it to. Paid is great though for the text message alerts, because depending on the client, I NEED to know when/if a site is having problems.

Another nice thing is that it's easy to setup monitors, it does not take a computer science degree to set them up. I was able to setup monitors for almost 10 clients in less than 5 min.

If any small business owner or agency is looking to monitor their websites, use this tool. Honestly the free version will likely work for what you need it to as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UptimeRobot?

The dislikes would be that the free version does not allow me to add text message alerts or add additional users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is UptimeRobot solving and how is that benefiting you?

Uptime is helping me avoid website down time and potential loss of revenue for my clients. It's just an extra security I like to have with my clients so I know their sites are protected Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about UptimeRobot?

I like the ways in which we can be told there's a problem. I also really like the reporting style used - very clear and obvious.

It was very easy to get up and running with the servers we wanted to monitor, add members to the team etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UptimeRobot?

There's nothing I dislike about it at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is UptimeRobot solving and how is that benefiting you?

We didn't have to build anything ourselves to remotely monitor our servers, it's all there. The only thing we monitor on top of what UpTime provides is App Pool memory usage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
