One of the main drawbacks of the Allego platform is that it doesn’t house all of my company’s education tools, which makes it less efficient as a centralized learning resource. Having to switch between multiple platforms can disrupt the learning flow and reduce overall engagement. Allego’s conversation intelligence platform allows me as a busy Sales Leader to get quicker insights into deals my reps are working, enables us to share best practices across a growing team, and it’s coaching features means we can accelerate how quickly our new hires get up to speed. We also use their Digital Sales Rooms which are not just easy for our team to create and customise, but are helping us accelerate deals with accounts which have notoriously been difficult to break into. I find that the ease of use along with its user friendly interface make this a great information resource. The ability to quickly impliment customer presentations for specific customers and then easily integrate that into a sales meeting is incredibly useful in a day when business has to be able to move quickly. I also really like the metrics that are offered in that we have the ability to track who has been accessing it. This allows us to know how effective and how frequently the information we are sharing is being used by our customers. For me I think the biggest downside is there is almost too much it can do so it can get a little overwhelming to try to wrap my brain around everything. I think having some simple training videos for beginners to help get started would be great. Allego helps me quickly find clinical data, videos, training, and see what can be shared vs internal only. I like receiving the detailed notification that my customer has opened the link. I use it quite frequently on phone and laptop for the latest messaging. Easy to implement interface and have yet to need customer support, though easy to obtain. A lot of basic features are kept from users by default- most analytics, creating your own folders and subfolders outside of the taxonomy you set initially, or designing anything outside of the specific framework they set. The platform is quite open for automating learning processes and providing relevant content in a clear and easy way. It is important to build the foundations correctly to reap the benefits. More feature are introduced frequently and the biggest advantage is the reporting and stats. It has a heavy emphasis on video based content but is not limited to it. The platform setup for organizational needs presents some complexity. While customer support is helpful, they may not be adequately trained to consult on achieving specific objectives. Due to Allego's non-traditional LMS positioning, some standard features are absent. Furthermore, it lacks a strong emphasis on gamification, a widely adopted trend in Learning and Development.
