It's really easy to set up a test and generally we have great quality users who take the time to answer questions thoughtfully and insightfully. It allows me to upload a prototype, point to a URL or upload an image which I then ask people to comment on. I use it about every 3-4 weeks to help me make important decisions about the UX of my product. Customer support are really helpful and quick to respond. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It could do with more UK users, there are a lot of USA users but it's not clear how many users there may potentially be in different demographic sections like other regions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This a very easy app to use for creating and running a variation of user tests that is important for validation our work. The numbers of improvements and features that they have added over the years are impressive such as the interface, the Insights Discovery, the task summary, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think it could be helpful if there was a list of report format that you can choose for exporting the Metrics and insights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

UserTesting's strengths are its panelists, flexible incentive structure, and breadth of testing modes. I like that they push for the latest and greatest features that users are asking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As the platform has changed to adopt user preferences, the navigation and site structure has diminished. It can be difficult to know where to find tools, there are inconsistencies in test organization/folder structure, and some features are just buried behind a "clean" UI. The tool suits power users well and I'd like to have easier access to powerful featuers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
How easy it is to use. How intuitive setting up moderated or unmoderated tests are. It's a very reliable tool for its primary use case- usability testing/interviews. The task options are well rounded allowing integration of a number of different types of tests if needed e.g. first impression testing or card sorts/tree testing, A/b testing etc Can be very useful to conduct testing when time is of the essence. A lot of scope in terms of freedom to create tests as needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Participant quality, particularly for new functions like the survey tool. The responses vs data we have in the past received via our website have been very varied, a persistent issue is the obvious 'side hustle' users who smash through tests to generate income. This has been a problem as well for moderated sessions on occasion where users are clearly not in the country you selected for/have no familiarity with the brand. User Testing allows me to rapidly get rich user feedback on concepts and designs. I love that User Testing has its own panel of participants, which makes it really easy to quickly set up an unmod, or schedule in a live conversation without the hassle of using a recruiter. User testing could have even more helpful features within the think out loud test setup, for example the ability to add more complex logic to the tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the ability to do unmoderated user testing without having to manually recruit participants as this saves me a ton of time! I also like the ability to use AI insights although they are sometimes inaccurate and definitely require double checking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Yes, AI Insights, their CommUnity which used to be great but now is horrible (please bring the old community back and honor the badges and points everyone worked so hard to earn that suddenly disappeared in February). I'd also love if they improved their communication as they have ignored messages in the CommUnity when reaching out for help. Communication for support bugs that happen for test analysis, which are crucial to ensure those are accurate, requiring more manual work as I have to tediously check to ensure every single answer is correct. For example, you use a scale rating and users select one option but the Metrics tab shows they selected another option, we have premium chat support but weeks later it still isn't resolved after reaching out by chat and email for help leaving us to have to abandon the test results as they are not reliable and we simply don't have the time to go through each of them. I felt quite helpless at that point when UserTesting is supposed to speed things up not slow them down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like its simplicity in the interface, it's intuitive to create your tests. I also like that it's automated: if a tester is not good, just a few clicks to get another one. And responses are so quickly, it really makes it easy to turn around a test in a couple of days (analysis included). Also the interviews work well, it's not required to install software (other than zoom) and there's an observer room, it's easy to share links to colleagues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I feel there's room for improvement, I don't like that I can't self serve to delete my tests (need to write to support). And once you create a study, there's no flexibility to edit the type of test or device, same for interviews, once you set the parameters, you can't change after creation of the study. Usertesting is great if you want to conduct user interviews. It manages everything from calendar schedules, recruiting, notetaking, tagging of notes, editing videos and summaries of your entire study. You can invite everyone you need there and share reels later with the team. It's also great for unmoderated studies, be it recruting from their base or not. It's qutie easy to implement figma prototypes there for usability tests. I like how their customer support is fast, never got ny doubts unanswered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In case your users are wuite talkative on your interview, your session may be cut off. If you need to increase the amount of minutes, you need to create a whole new study. For surveys, they're still implementing more logic and conditions features like UserZoom has. I wish putting images on multiple answer questions was possible too. We're currently using the User zoom and EnjoyHQ platforms and we love the integrations between them. UserZoom allows us to run a plethora of multi-method studies and importantly, QXScore studies which help us internally benchmark our web experiences and track improvements. EnjoyHQ allows us to have a centralised repository of research insights, data analytics findings and experimentation results that keep our findings living and breathing with clear evidence and summaries and allows for stakeholders to self-serve insights which free's up the researchers to run more research. I'm anticipating the future of AI in UserZoom and EnjoyHQ which currently doesn't exist. I know there are some interesting plans for this and it's something currently lacking in the platforms we use so very exciting stuff. We also have run into recent issues with the recruitment panels either not being able to achieve the numbers we need or having poor quality results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The thing I like best about UserTesting is how quickly and conveniently I can reach our customers and get feedback so that we can quickly made decisions and move on with product development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One downside is the quality of participants at times. There are professional test takers and bots trying to simply make money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
