As a software engineer focused on delivering responsive, high-quality web applications, BrowserStack has become an indispensable part of my development and QA workflow. The platform provides a seamless experience for testing across multiple devices, browsers, and operating systems. All of this is done without the need to maintain an in-house device lab.
What I Like:
Vast Device and Browser Coverage: BrowserStack supports a wide range of real devices and browsers, which makes it easy to test for compatibility across environments that users actually use.
Live & Automated Testing: Whether I need to manually verify a UI bug or run a full Selenium test suite, BrowserStack handles both with excellent performance and minimal setup.
Ease of Integration: Integration with CI/CD pipelines is simple and helps catch regressions early in the deployment process.
Real Device Testing: The fact that tests are run on real devices (not emulators) ensures accuracy and builds trust in the results.
User-Friendly Interface: The UI is clean, responsive, and intuitive, making it easy to jump into testing with minimal training or documentation lookup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I Dislike:
Occasional Latency on Live Tests: Very rarely, live testing sessions may lag, especially on older devices or during peak usage times.
Final Thoughts:
BrowserStack has dramatically improved our ability to test efficiently and deliver high-quality web applications with confidence. It's reliable, scalable, and constantly improving. I highly recommend it for any software development team that takes cross-browser compatibility seriously. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It allows to use unbelievable device range and it is more easier for QA purposes.
It gives simple and ease implementation guide an it would be very helpful for beginners.
You can easily chat with them and get response within few hours and also they allow me extra free trial before go purchase a plan.
No downtimes at all. You can use any time in the day and also they allows users to see the downtimes.
When you go for a browserstack, you can definitely simplify your CI/CD integrations. Because they have easy integrations as well as you can save your VM's resource utilizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When we purchase the plan, default parallel count is limited to 01. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best thing about BrowserStack is how easy it makes testing across different devices and browsers without needing to set up anything locally. We use both the Live and Automate features—Live is great for quick manual checks, and Automate works well with our CI pipeline. It saves a lot of time and helps us catch browser-specific issues before releasing. The device coverage is impressive, and the platform is stable most of the time. Sometimes the performance can dip a bit, especially during peak hours—sessions take slightly longer to start. Also, the pricing could be more flexible for smaller teams or individual developers. But apart from that, it's been a pretty smooth experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We are able to test many more devices that we would be able to purchase on our own and keep up to date on the latest devices that get put out. We are also able to have a huge archive of older devices and older browsers for testing out of date versions and just different combinations of options. We have been able to find errors that we would have never been able to find otherwise without the huge library of resources. it is very easy to work with and add in our current process. We use this just about every week when we are working on various projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A few of the features that that we use on our website do not function the exact same when we use BrowserStack. We have a list where they differ. One you get that figured out it makes it a great tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Below are some of the points which we find very helpful while using Browser stack:
1. ease of use.
2. easy integration with project collaboration tools like Azure dev ops and Jira.
3. Wide variety of device and browser configurations which can be utilized for our software test needs.
4. Coming up with new age AI solutions to accelerate your test activities.
5. Good support on non functional testing like Performance, Accessibility etc.
6. Good customer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Below are areas where browser stack can improve.
1. Availability of physical devices as some business use case require same.
2. More integration with ERP testing needs for SAP and service now.
3. More support on running scripts from tools like TOSCA or UI Path. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Browserstack has a feature for WCAG Accessibility testing on mobile apps and the web as well. Here we can also automate our testing and reporting for any number execution.
Along with that we get a visual scanner with the Accessibility testing to test our app and web UI.
After the execution of the test we get a detailed report where we can also see the impacts of the issues discovered in the Accessibility testing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When you test for only accessibility testing it will take 1-2 min for a whole page of a website but when you turn on the visual scanner it is taking a lot of time for execution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use a Macbook Pro but I need to test websites and apps for accessibility compliance using NVDA on Windows. BrowserStack allows me to do that. I can test NVDA (screenreader on Chrome and Firefox for Windows as well as Android's screen reader. I use my own MacBook Pro for Voiceover testing and my own iPhone for Voiceover testing on iOS, so I can't speak to how BrowserStack works for those platforms. (I think Voiceover testing is not available for one or both of them though.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm often moving back and forth between BrowserStack and other browser tabs and BrowserStack often times out while I'm away. I understand why, but it's a bit annoying sometimes. It would be better if the platform also had Voiceover testing for both Mac and iOS as well. Most developers at my company are working on Windows, so it would help them if they could see how VoiceOver performs as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
BrowserStack has a plethora of real mobile devices which makes our testing very easy as we don't need to invest on different devices. For manual testing, we can directly upload the file and start testing, and for automation we have BrowserStack SDK, BrowserStack username and access key, using which we can integrate with our automation framework and run our automated tests with very minimal effort. I'm a regular user of BrowserStack where i use it on daily basis for manual and automation testing. I never faced any issue with BrowserStack till now, but i know there is a support option using which we can raise tickets to describe our issue and get it resolved Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- In App Live, the session struggles a bit when i'm on VPN and sometimes it disconnects automatically
- In App Automate, the live video gets struck when i'm on VPN
- I feel TestFlight integration is not up to mark in App Live Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am using BrowserStack Low Code Automation tool. It allows us to record each and every steps by just clicking on it and performing any actions, unlike some other tools in which we need to specify the type of field or element which we are trying to record. It also allows us to edit the steps in-between and also provides JS code for the recorded steps. The integration with CI/CD pipelines are also not a complex one.
Support provided by the team is so good and always active.
Implementation is easy since we just need to install the desktop app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes, elements recorded in the steps are not proper. For example, if I am trying to click on a settings icon, the image recorded for the settings icon is not proper. In such cases, I need to rerecord that steps.
It takes too much time to execute a test suite.
Installing the desktop app is mandatory to start testing, since the recording only works in that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It allows cross-browser testing with regional location access. It is more important to globally use product testing. We can test different browsers with various geographic locations to identify specific issues or bugs.
As well as it is very easy to use, and an easy guide has to be implemented in our environments. Beginners can also understand, and it has more features to improve our testing quality. Also, customer support is on another level, and we can get technical and sales support at any time by raising a single ticket. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only dislike thing about BrowserStack is free trial period is very limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
