The interface of Basecamp is straightforward. The platform makes daily collaboration with the team simple, allowing us to share all types of files, communicate effectively through group chats, and keep everyone updated on project status. Its straightforward setup and essential features help our team stay organized and on track, making Basecamp a part of our workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It offers limited integration options with other tools, especially those that myself being part of in digital marketing, like social media platforms. While it covers the basics well, it lacks some advanced features and seamless connections with external apps, which can be a drawback for teams needing more activities to be performed here as scheduling posts, etc. Additionally, although implementation is generally easy, new team members still need some guidance to fully utilize all the functionalities. But it's used in our day-to-day activity for collaboration with each team member, the team member just gets used to it anyway. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Basecamp functionalities really kicks in for collaborative teams. It helps to coordinate and share information among team, and keep record of everything at one place. Handling different teams under a single platform really works for us. You can easily create different projects, assign tasks to your teammates, and manage your day to day task at work really easily. Support is readily available to assist in case you are stuck somewhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Everything works well. Mobile interface can be improved though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I was very relieved when Basecamp came into my working life; the intuitive interface ensures that even those with no knowledge can understand it. Making to-do lists allows me to organize my day, delegate work to my team, and check items when they are finished. Crossing those items off the list is a wonderful sensation! His ability to consolidate discussions, documents, and assignments in one place is priceless. Thanks to the campaign function, I can organize the development and deployment of content initiatives in a methodical way, which keeps my team on the same page. We can keep ourselves informed without being overwhelmed by customizing notifications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user interface seems a bit old to me; compared with other tools today, it lacks modernity and aesthetic appeal. I hope you will soon be able to add more frequent updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Basecamp does a great job making it easy for others to complete tasks and network. It significantly cuts down on meeting time and creates transparancy where silo's often exist in a manufacturing and production environment. Implementation is simple and straight forward. Customer support has always been great. We use the software on a daily basis for items that would normally have been done with pen and paper. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are few downsides to Basecamp.
If a person forgets to assign the next to-do, projects can remain open as there is no way to see if a project is not assigned to anyone.
It would be helpful if there was a language option to easily convert between English and Spanish for employees that are better suited for reading and writing in Spanish as opposed to English.
Older verisions of Basecamp you could assign persons to tasks in templates. This feature is missed and it would be great if it could be brought back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Basecamp came as a solution that I didn’t know we needed until we implemented it. The first thing that caught my eye was its design: clean, visual, and very easy to understand. The whiteboards are great; it allowed us to organize everything at a glance, and we were able to customize them as we wanted. Automation takes things to a new level: tasks that once took hours to complete now resolve themselves. And I can’t help but mention how it integrates with Slack and other utility tools. That made my team better connected and work more closely. It serves as more than just a project tool; it's akin to having a proactive assistant at your disposal, requiring no expertise to operate. Although it has been great and error-free, when we work on very large projects with many real-time updates, sometimes you notice that the platform slows down a bit. It hasn't slowed us down, but optimizing it for those cases would be ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that every tool I use is all in once place. I love having our information centralized and easy to find. I love that I can search for whatever I'm looking for and it comes up; the search works! Once we signed up, it was so easy to get up-and-running and get everyone on the same page. I use this tool every single day and I don't know how I would continue to do my job without it. It's really centralized all of our information and communication into one easy-to-use and easy-to-search place.
The one time I had to reach out to customer support they responded quickly and answered my questions in a friendly, helpful manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing I dislike about Basecamp. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how user-friendly it is while remaining complex enough to manage my complex workload. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Currently, I do not like that when I assign one task to multiple team members it gets checked off the moment 1 person clicks that it is done. I am wanting each of our team members to do this task, but don't want to have to copy it separately. I wish there was a way that when someone checks the task off (if multiple people are assigned) it would just put a check by each person's name in which it is assigned. Having a "one stop shop" to be able to store policies, procedures, lists of tasks to finish (to-do's) & also being able to message each other without using multiple systems helps us to be more efficient. Being able to move quickly helps us address our customer & business needs quickly as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like that it doesn't have a "duplicate" option. For instance, we make to-do's for certain things we have to do like holiday items. There is a recurrance option which has helped but, sometimes the holidays don't fall on the same day or you want to make the same to-do. Would be very helpful to help duplicate it versus having to make a new one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It keeps things really organized, you can store and track information for multiple projects at every time and no lose anything. Also it helps a lot with teams communication as you can track progress with the message bords and daily reports. I use it every day to handle multiple projects. Not a downside or bad thing to say about it. It's been built really good Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that Basecamp is super organized and easy to use/integrate for my website management relationship between me as a client and the web designer. We use Basecamp on a monthly basis now that our website migration project is complete, and it's super easy and organized for my web developer to use when I have edits or web designs needed. I also like that I can tag my coworker when I need them to review a task or join the collaboration on something. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the platform is so simplified for easy customization that it lacks labeling projects or certain boards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
