The primary sphere of prominence of Copado DevOps is its ability to progress constantly and that is reflected in its frequent updates and changes. These updates maintain that constant update of features with next practices of the industry and constantly changing Salesforce rules so that we can always have on hand the latest and greatest tools. Furthermore, Copado’s comprehensive documentation and training tools help my team to continually learn and expand their capabilities in order to maximize the usage of the platform. Nonetheless, Copado DevOps has strong features for Salesforce development and unfortunately, it can also be costly for SMEs when it comes to the price. The specific licensing costs as well as the extra costs of the premium features and support packages are a little steep which may put pressure on the budgets of organizations that wish to unlock all the potential of the platform. Moreover, from time to time there are problems with the infrastructure and the performance, and this has made our development team lose time and get angry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing stands out as a great feature of Copado DevOps - our release management on Salesforce has never been easier. It is a great fit within the platform, which allows us to deploy changes easily across various environments for the company. The simplicity in the creation and design of the interface is suitable for working groups whose members might not be very IT literate. We have also incorporated the app with Slack to receive updates in real time, helping with communication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A major disadvantage of Copado DevOps is that it is not very customizable. Although there are many options available on the platform, they can’t be customized to some extent, suitable for our case. This limitation has once in a while hampered the general efficiency of the workflow since some tasks take longer time to be accomplished than others. Dealing with this matter would significantly improve the software functionality and bring it in line with our needs hence increasing our efficiency and efficacy. One of the great things about Copado DevOps is that it integrates incredibly well with other systems. Integration with tools such as Git and Jenkins is seamless, and deployments become easier and less prone to errors. Ease of use helps our team to apply it with less practice so that we do not spend a lot of time familiarizing ourselves with it. This is backed by the responsive customer support that takes care of all the concerns effectively. This shows that Copado is a fully fledged DevOps tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Copado DevOps has a lot of strengths, the biggest drawback is the system’s tendency to slow down during high traffic, which makes deployment slower and disrupts our workflow. This has had a negative effect to our project development schedule as explained below. Furthermore, there was also a need of much energy and time in the beginning to establish the raw system that comes with this level of integration. However, there are some difficulties that need to be addressed - in general, Copado’s performance is valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Because of its seamless integration with Salesforce, Copado DevOps is an invaluable tool for organisations married to the platform,” the company stated. This is complemented with the platform’s easy-to-use interface, which takes such complex DevOps processes and every deployment, test or CI/CD pipeline step can be accelerated to a high degree of efficiency due to the robust automation capabilities. It also offers strong collaboration through Copado, allowing development, operations and business teams to interact seamlessly while eliminating errors that slow down productivity. The compliance and security features provide industry-standard compliance and practices keeping customer data secure which gives trust for the organizations running sensitive data. Even though Copado DevOps is a very robust solution, there are areas that can be improved. That said, the pricing model can be a little prohibitive in terms of smaller organisations or startups with less to work with budget-wise. While the platform is not difficult to use overall, its robust feature set means new users face a learning curve that can be time consuming and take some work to realize its full potential. However, there have been reports by some users regarding the performance being slightly under par at times. For example when dealing with larger or more complicated projects. Finally, although Customer support is great overall we have sometimes seen delayed responses and suboptimal remedial action which can be frustrating when dealing with mission-critical functions. I see the integration of Copado DevOps to Salesforce as its major benefit among other advantages. Such a link not only makes release process easy for us, but also opens up the lines of communication among the teams. The interface of the tool is really flexible and understand so that the background of the team members will not be a hindrance in the quick adoption of the tool. Hence, training shall be minimal. With the expansion of its use it plays the major role as an important tool in our workflows improving the work processes and boosting our productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Copado DevOps also has a drawback in that its customer service seems to be lacking in consistency. They are usually responsive, nevertheless we have those times where the resolution times are longer than we want which causes our operations to be interfered. Such variable nature of support makes us sometimes experience such things as disruptions which then causes us to slow down on the most sensitive jobs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
