Sometimes the CRM integration seems to have issues and I've seen some errors synching our contact database. And while the new email composer is great and allows for mobile and desktop designs, sometimes it has trouble detecting which device it's sending to and will show both designs to a user. Act-On has not kept pace with other marketing automation tools, it has changed very little in the last 10+ years. The overall lack of integrations with other platforms is a real challenge, as it is not directly integrated with many other related tools we use for marketing. The Salesforce integration is also old and clunky. Creating automations within ActOn is also not intuitive and requires maintenance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Act-On has all of the bells and whistles you've come to expect from an email marketing tool. It is incredibly robust while easy to use for small and mid-sized businesses. The developers are constantly working to improve the client experience. One of the best reasons to work with Act-On is that everyone from dev to client success managers to the deliverability team listens to the end user to make improvements and offer enhancements.
